Shivashish Ahuja is a cinematographer based in Los Angeles and Mumbai. He has had the pleasure of being invited to the OSCARS twice and is guided by the philosophy that a great filmmaker is nothing but a magician, whose storytelling expertise touches the lives of his audience in numerous ways. The same belief is reflected in his narrative projects which vary across genres like drama, sci-fi, suspense, comedy, etc.

His career started with documentaries, where he fell in love with narratives. Some of his recent work includes commercials, narratives, and music videos for grammy-winning artists like Billie Eilish, Alessia Cara, and the Super Bowl Halftime Show 2022. The shows “Staycation” and the Super Bowl Half-time show have won Emmys in the lifestyle and music categories.

He enjoys and believes in the power of pre-production and looks for storytellers with a strong narrative mission. His visual style draws inspiration from his hobby of dancing where he likes to combine movement and color to tell better stories.
